 Dobby is an active fellow that is eager to please and he plays with toys as long as you will throw them.  He loves his toys so much, he will even bring them to bed. He prefers stuffed animals but will play with balls as well.  He is prone to taking them outside so you have to keep an eye on them.  Despite his active nature, he is truly a people’s dog.  Loves to snuggle on the couch and follows me everywhere.  I call him my shadow dog.  We are working on this protective nipping/biting behavior.  When a stranger comes in, he does enjoy biting at their pants leg, but makes friends quickly.  He listens and responds to NO.  He is gentle with the smaller dogs, and doesn’t mind when they walk on him.  He sleeps in the bed under the covers.  He is a jumper.  Gets excited and jumps.  Can get over baby gates.  I suspect he will need a tall wooden fence or will need to be on a leash at all times.  I would not trust him outside alone!!!!

Breed knowledge, needs to be an experienced dog owner. A Strong disciplined person will be needed
