Biography (tell us about your foster dog): Misky was acquired as a young dog and left outside to fend for herself and have puppies. After a couple of years, she was hit by a car. The owner then decided she did not have any money to fix her so she found a vet who used wood screws to fix the break. That caused more problems. When a car hit her again she was abandoned on the streets of Peru. She was rescued and brought to a very good vet who, long story short, preformed 6 surgeries. Repairing the broken hip, leg, spayed and fixed a hernia. She is doing very well and with little to no effects from her past life. I have seen a little stiffness now and then but she keeps going like an energizer bunny. She is a very snuggly dog and loves to play with toys and the other dogs. She is very social and is a goofy girl. Her skin needs a little extra help. She came very rough with many little cyst on her feet. She is on antibiotics and she is responding well to them. She is up to date on vaccinations and on HW monthly meds. HW neg. and healthy in every other way. She is being crate train and doing well with that. I am sure that she would love to sleep in her forever home's bed but she is settling into her crate for now. She is learning the leash but a little slower on that training. She seems to enjoy riding in the car. She has been on a couple of long journeys since she arrived in USA. If interested in Misky, contact foster: Sue Yancey crested@sbcglobal.net
