Hi! I'm Cooper and I'm looking for my retirement home! I am 10 years old, up to date on my vaccines and neutered, I also have a cataract on one eye.  If a stranger offers me a hand to sniff, I'll turn my head to avoid contact. Cooper’s ideal home would be with someone with significant dog behavior experience that understands fear aggression and physical cues. He would thrive with one person or an adult couple (no children) in a calm home without a lot of visitors coming and going. Cooper currently lives with other dogs and hasn't had an issue. Although he doesn’t attempt to play with them (he prefers snuggling with his human), he peacefully coexists.

I may mark inside if allowed to roam around on my own, so it’s best to keep me on a routine potty schedule. Although he doesn’t love it and would much rather be with his person, he does well in a crate and does not soil it.
