adoption pending-Howdy folks....my name is Bentley and I’m looking for my forever home. I may look like a Dachshund but underneath this beautiful face, I’m naked! I’m not sure which side of my family tree is Xoloitzcuintli but I’m pretty sure that’s where I got my good looks from. I’m a young boy. Because of this my foster mom took me to school so I could learn to be a good boy. There is so much for me to learn but I have a good foundation for my new family to build on. I can walk on a leash, sit, down and still learning to stay but when you call meI run to you as fast as I can.

My all-time favorite thing to do is to sit on the couch next to my person under a blankie. I am crate trained and will do anything for a treat but I’ll need to go outside to water the garden before going in my crate. Being a little guy, sometimes it’s hard for me to hold myself till I can go out again. My foster mom watches me and knows my clues so now I don’t have to wear that funny diaper around my belly.

I get along with all my foster dogs but I don’t know what a ‘c-a-t’ is. I bark when I’m out socializing because I am the mighty watch dog bu with reassurance I settle quickly. My foster mom tells me that I have so much potential that anyone who adopts me will be blessed. Is there someone out there looking for a blessing? I’m your boy!
