Hi my name is Kira.  I’m a 2 year old Japanese Chin.   I was very scared when I first got to my foster mom’s house. I cowered in the corner but I realized that snuggles and kisses are the best thing ever!  I’m learning so much, like walking on a leash and getting my hair brushed.  I will need almost no grooming, just a warm bath every now and then (which I do enjoy).  R unning around the yard with my foster dog family  is so much fun  but It’s so nice to lay on a soft couch with my foster mom.   And I have discovered the joys of  chew toys and  stuffed animals,  and lets just talk about cheese.  I feel secure in a crate and know that I’m supposed to go outside to do my business but I like using pads too.   I need a forever family that is kind and patient and understands my shyness.  It takes me a minute to warm up to people but my foster mom says that’s normal Chin behavior.
