ISO A KIND PATIENT HUMAN - Sweet Violet is a pretty Maltese and one smart little lady. She has experienced the rough life of a puppy mill and is finally learning to love people and enjoy life! She has made so much progress since coming to her foster home. She loves other dogs and cats. Violet would love a companion dog her size to help her adjust and learn, as well as a securely fenced yard where she can romp and play. Violet is house trained, loves taking leash walks, plays with toys, and likes to cozy up in bed at night with her foster humans and siblings. She loves treats and will happily take them from people, but is still learning about trust. Violet is still not a fan of being touched or picked up, but she should come around in time. Her foster has found that repetition is key with Violet and she loves to learn new things. Violet is smart and catches on quickly. Violet is seeking a forever home and a family to love and who will love her in return. If you have patience to give Violet the time she needs to trust, and can give her the love she deserves, then maybe your home will be Violet's perfect forever home!
