Petunia is very cute and pretty. But she is not the dog for just anyone. She requires special humans that have experience with very timid and shy dogs. Petunia is not the dog for you if you are looking for a little poodle lap dog. However... Petunia IS the dog for you if you want to continue to help her understand about all the things in the big world out there. She will require patient humans who will give her the time and space she requires to acclimate to a new environment. Petunia will probably not be your bestie immediately, but with patience and guidance there's no doubt she will be. Petunia requires a dog sibling around her size to help her learn the ropes. She loves to play with other dogs. She will be a loyal companion , once she gets to know you. Once settled in she will be a fantastic friend and playmate for a person and dog. A mature family or a family with older children would be best. This little girl has lots of potential. If you can help her live her best life yours can be the perfect forever home. She is being fostered in PA.
