Adoptio pending Bridgette is a beautiful, but very shy, little lady. Her ideal home would have a fenced in backyard where she can run and play, and companion dog her size to help show her the ropes! Her new family must be willing provide her with a lot of love and patience to allow her to trust and blossom into the loving dog she wants to be.

Bridgette didn’t have the easiest start to life, but since coming into foster, she has made amazing progress. She is very curious and will happily follow her person around the house and the yard.  She has learned the joy of playing with toys, chewing on small Nylabones and romping around the yard. She has been great with her foster siblings. She has been very submissive with them and with the humans in the home. She has been sleeping and spending a lot of time in an exercise playpen, and she making progress pottying outside — with an occasional accident.

She is still very hand shy, but she is learning trust. She allows her foster mom to hold and pet her for long periods of time (like while watching TV on the couch). She is also content to sit nearby in a dog bed and just observe what’s going on around her.

Bridgette needs a very special, dog-experienced family that is willing to invest the time and effort to give this sweet girl a well-deserved chance to be part of a loving family.
