Hello!! My name is Chewie short for Chewbacca from StarWars. My two legged foster brothers thought that the name suited me, don't know why. I am just about 1 year old and am a white powder puff chinese crested. I know, I know you thought chinese cresteds were those hairless dogs that look funny. Well, there are those more elite chinese cresteds that do have hair and plenty of it. My foster mom says my hair is so soft and tells me often that I am having a bad hair day because I can't seem to keep it out of my eyes. I will need thorough brushing because my hair is so fine that it tangles easily. Anyway, I digress..... I am looking for a furever home that has lots of love and patience. I am exploring the world right now and quick movements and loud noises scare me. If I get overwhelmed I tend to try to find a corner to lay down. I should have one or more four legged brothers because I look to other dogs to tell me how to act and what is o.k. and not o.k. I am current on all vaccinations, heartworm pills, frontline flea treatments and I am neutered. I would make a really good dog for the right home. I would prefer older children that can be gentle with me because I am still scared of things. I am working on my house training and my foster mom says I am doing really well.
