Please meet Zach.  He is a little Chihuahua weighing in at 7 pounds.  Zach is approximately 6 years old.  This is our best guess.  Due to no fault of his own, Zach has been moved around from home to home and finally came into rescue after he was obtained by yet another person who realized she already had too many animals and could no longer care for Zach.  Our rescue has vowed to find Zach a permanent, forever home where he can live out the rest of his life.  He deserves it!  Zach is a sweet and gentle little guy that gets along with everyone - men, woman, dogs, cats, kids, etc.  He is pretty laid back and loves a good lap to snuggle in.  He has good manners around the house and is doing very well on his housebreaking.   He loves to romp around the yard on a nice day and is learning to enjoy going for walks on a leash.  He also loves to go for rides in the car and visit friends.  He does not like to be left behind but that's ok because he will behave perfectly anywhere you take him.  He would really love a calm home where someone is committed to his care.  A quiet, non chaotic home without small children would be best.  Older children who know how to safely and gently handle a small, fragile dog would be fine.
