Stella came to us with both front legs broken. Each leg has a plate and pins but you certainly can't tell when watching her play. Stella is potty pad trained, while she was recovering from surgery she could only take a few steps and couldn't get outside. Since her restrictions have been lifted, we are reacclimating her with housebreaking, she's coming along nicely. Stella is fearful of humans (who could blame her?!), we are working on that as well and again, she is coming along nicely. Stella is 12 lbs and 3 years old, up to date on her shots and has been spayed.

Stella will go to a home with a fenced in yard and another dog close to her size. Due to Stella's previous leg issues, she will not be adopted to a home with large dogs or small children. If you have a big heart, lots of love and aren't intimidated by scars and are interested in adopting Stella, you can contact her foster mom at ceciliatucker@yahoo.com.
The ideal candidate for Stella would be within driving distance of Dundee, MI. This would allow for any follow up screw removals to be done by Dr. Cornprobst at Heritage Animal Hospital and be considered as part of the original surgery costs. This would be ideal but not a requirement.
