Beau is a male Hairless Chinese Crested in search of his “forever” home. His home will need to be one with patience and understanding, so that he can have time to adjust.  He was surrendered to NakedK9 with no social skills.  He came from a hoarder situation, and therefore, never received the attention and love he needs.  He is shy and is currently not fond of strangers/visitors (he growls), but we are working on correcting this.  He is easily startled and runs when there are loud noises and sudden movements.

Beau is approx. 7 years old and weighs 16 lbs. and is 15” tall.  He is neutered and UTD on all vaccines.  He has a mild heart murmur at a grade 3 that is not causing any health problems and he is HW negative.  Beau was treat for lyme diesease in January 2013. He currently show no signs/symptions of the disease.

Beau knows his basic obedient commands. He responds to his name and is 100% housebroken and sleeps in a crate.  When left alone, I gate off the room, rather than crate him.  He walks well on a leash and enjoys car rides.  He loves playing with toys, especially squeaky ones!  He gets along with other dogs and cats.  Outside Beau will definitely need a fenced in yard.  The ideal home for Beau, would be a calm atmosphere with minimal people, and no small children.
