Charlie is a 3 year old old Chinese Crested/Maltese mix. He gets along well with other dogs, cats, ferrets and kids. He loves wearing his jacket when it's cold outside and loves to cuddle under the blankets and cuddle. He also will "Werewolf howl" on command! He's been attending basic obedience classes and is working on basic commands like "sit & stay".
He will come when called and he will let you know when he needs to go outside to potty. He loves playing with the kitties and ferrets at his foster home and is an all around good boy. He barks at strangers coming up to the house, but isn't a "yappy" boy. He walks on the leash well, and stands quietly for bath time too. He will make someone a wonderful companion!
He was in danger of being left outside to freeze when a caring person stepped up to help this little guy. In a world full of people who couldn't care less, he found someone who couldn't care more and stepped in to save this sweetheart. Then his foster home kept the caring up and now he's ready to find his "furever" home. His ONLY issue is he does have a severe allergy to flea bites, so he will require a flea preventative program to keep the bugs away. He's not hairless, but not full coated either. To meet him is to love him.
