I'm a grumpy, older guy and looking for a nice, quiet retirement home. HEY - GET OFF MY GRASS - darn kids, where was I? Oh yes, nice, quiet home, snuggles and laps and blankets are required, did I mention quiet? That being said - I can be grouchy - HEY - GET OFF MY GRASS - darn how many times do I have to bark at those kids? Where was I oh yes - grouchy - I will give you the business if you upset me (barking at you). When I'm really angry - I get very barky. If you don't react to me and tell me to go to my kennel I will. I know when I deserve a time out and it's quiet in my kennel. I DO love to snuggle and get belly rubs and snuggle some more. 

Monte's mom here - Monte tries really hard to be good. He gets along with dogs and cats, he's vaccinated and neutered. Monte needs someone with ornery Xolo experience. He can be barky with noises (sneezes, sweeper, etc). If you tell him to do something (get off the couch) he may do it or he may bark at you ferociously. Even when barking ferociously if you point and tell him kennel - he'll go - barking all the way. Monte is on prozac and it will be required for the rest of his life. He is definitely a handful, but he DOES have lots of love and snuggles to give. He is a good boy 95% of the time, but when he's agitated it can be ugly.
