Do you love the intelligent, alert and loving personality of the Xolo, but also love a dog with soft fur to stroke?  Then look no further than the beautiful Ruby.  This sweet little chocolate drop with caramel accents is the perfect combination of the Xolo personality and a cuddly fur baby.  And she is absolutely gorgeous – her eyes even match her markings! Ruby is a shy little girl, who just wants her very own human to love.  While she is cautious when meeting new people, she is not aggressive, and once she warms up to you she is the perfect companion. She loves to race around the yard, roll in the grass, and play tag with her foster brother and sister. She also walks well on a leash.  Ruby enjoys toys and treats, and is very playful.  She is especially fond of belly rubs and is content to curl up to next you on the couch.  Ruby is fearful of loud noises, such as fireworks, thunder and slamming doors.  Ruby requires someone who is loving and patient and will allow her to get to know you in her own way.  Once she connects with you she will love you forever.  Ruby gets along great with other small dogs and cats, but would also do well as an only dog.  Ruby is being fostered in Cincinnati, Ohio.
